My Experience

I had a colonoscopy as part of my “preventative maintenance.” As preparation, I had to drink a lot of the special liquid so that I could clear my bowels. Also, I couldn’t eat food for about 12 hours before the procedure.

Walking into the doctor’s office, I was frightened, but once the IV was put in my arm, I was relaxed and felt nothing. When it was over I was relieved and felt fine… and hungry. I took the day off and was fine the next day.

My Advice

Do it. It can prevent major problems.
