About the rating

I was having difficulty swallowing and my doctor recommended an upper GI endoscopy.

I was told to fast 12 hours prior to the procedure.

Once at the office, I filled out paperwork, went to a room, was explained what to expect and all that could go wrong. I was given anesthesia, woke a few minutes later and it was done. It was very easy.

There was no after affects or recovery time. I just needed to be driven home.

My Advice

Ask any questions you have to the nurse or doctor. Do not worry about this procedure.
