Moles, or nevi (one mole is a nevus) are growths on the skin. An unusual or atypical mole is called a dysplastic nevus. A biopsy is performed to remove the mole and test it for abnormal tissue or cells.
Advice
Keep a close eye on the wound after the procedure to make sure it is healing properly.
Use 30+ sun block.
