About the rating

I was wheezing and doctor was concerned. The procedure took place in a room called a lab. There was just the medical technician and myself. The test was explained to me: that I was to blow into the machine with a clip on my nose so that all of my breathing was through my mouth.

I was asked to inhale deeply and slowly and then exhale slowly and strongly, then after a pause to inhale rapidly and then exhale rapidly. I did this several times.

Afterwards, I felt a bit tired and was coughing a little more than before the test. After a half hour or so, I was fully recovered.

My Advice

Do not worry: this is not a difficult or challenging test.
